Normal Service Is Resumed
Back at work after a blissful two weeks off. Not feeling too happy as I have developed some peculiar thing on my left eyelid – it is like a spot that has gone bad, or possibly an insect bite, anyway the lid is all swollen, and in fact the whole thing is making me feel a bit ill. That is why one should never go on holiday. It upsets the delicate rhythms of one’s ecosystem and everything goes wrong.

Hot black teabag. Well, not too hot. oh and the tea that leaks out stains (fabric), so don't put it on while wearing your favourite white shirt or laying on precious white linens.
strange - the Frogs prescribed cold wet towel. Maybe I will try both simultaneously
And in Sri Lanka it's usually the cold, wet, (black - this being the only kind) tea bag that gets recommended - isn't that funny?
There's something in black tea that's an anti-inflammatory or some such thing. Tannin? No, maybe that's red wine. I don't know if hot or cold matters, I've noticed when my eyes are sore, heat is nice.
