Mind Is Wandering

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? Mine would be invisibility, which satisfies the twin demands of security and curiosity.

We are choosing carpet tiles at work. Turquoise, lavender or lime-green? The decision will be purely democratic sudden-death - not French-election style. I lean towards the lime-green - we could have our own mini-golf range in one of the meeting rooms.

I was in a meeting today thinking of one of the participants, Why are you hiding behind those librarian-glasses and that schoolgirl bob and cardigan, when you are secretly very pretty?

Yes I do know what you mean about that very provocative librarian look, it falls into the same box as the breasts pressing hard against the white lacy blouse pearl buttoned to the neck with the faux elizabethan ruffle at the crest.
However it is often let down by a rather nylon looking pair of trousers or skirt and VPLs
In the mist of this whimsy
I often imagine the whole attire being thrown off to reveal matching Hello Kitty 2 piece bikini set and long flowing almond coloured hair hanging in the sea breeze,
At this point reality thuds me back into my seat and the meeting.

I think you know my choice, Phiz, but would two invisible peeps be able to see each other?

I would love to be able to time-travel.

Spontaneous travel would be mine. Here and then there and then back again. But invisibility might be nice at times...then again, I used to be less visible than I am now and even with the negative side, I kindof like standing out.

DG - do you mean someone like the Nightcrawler in X-men? Yes - very cool. But I think the most exciting superhero power belongs to the shapeshifter Mystique.

We're gonna bring the whole series of Heroes series 1 on holiday, so you can watch some while we're there if you want. I was veering towards being able to bend space and time as my favourite superpower, but now someone has emerged on the series who can make other people see what she wants them to see. That's pretty cool too.

Time travel for me too. London in the 17th or 18th century, probably bits of both, with the rider of being able to pop back to now for the doctor and the dentist.

Turquoise tiles would be better than lime green.

The other team have voted en masse for purple. I am applying a 3-line whip in favour of grass-green.
